roCAncer-I Metadata Catalogue

The ProCAncer-I metadata catalogue enables the effective and efficient indexing, semantic annotation, search and retrieval of the metadata available in the ProCAncer-I infrastructure. This catalogue adopts the OHDSI OMOP-CDM as its main data model, which is one of the most widely used common data models for supporting analysis of observational health data, generating reliable scientific evidence about disease history, effects of medical interventions and outcomes. Besides the standard CDM, OMOP-CDM extensions are being used, such as the Oncology CDM extension for representing cancer data at the levels of granularity and abstraction required to support cancer research, as well as a Radiology extension CDM, focusing on including annotation and curation related metadata.
